Building Bridges: How State Policies Can Support Postsecondary Education Success for Students with Experience in Foster Care

State policies can have an enormous impact on the educational trajectories for students with experience in foster care. This report presents information about a range of state policies that are currently in place that could be replicated in other states to improve outcomes. Policies presented include those that are designed to augment financial aid, provide access to housing, bolster student outreach and support services, support workforce development, and build the infrastructure needed to ensure a strong education success pipeline for students with experience in foster care.
